Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team to work

Mondays and possibly alternate Saturdays at 116 Sheppard Avenue West, North York

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.

Duties

Perform thorough dental hygiene procedures including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar. Conduct patient assessments Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records using Paradigm dental software. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plan for patients.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Ontario Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred to better serve our diverse patient base. Familiarity with Paradigm or similar dental practice management software is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial. Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team oriented environment while maintaining professionalism. New grads are welcome to apply
