Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

to join our team for a

1-year maternity leave contract (possible permanate)

. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs that support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth of children in our care.

Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, and evaluate daily activities based on the interests and needs of children Ensure compliance with the

Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)

and centre policies Foster positive, respectful, and supportive relationships with children, families, and staff Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Document children's learning and development through observations and portfolios Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

Registered member in good standing with the

College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE)

Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning Excellent communication and teamwork skills Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification Vulnerable Sector Check (up to date) Previous childcare experience preferred

Pay: $22.00-$25.88 per hour
