P.R.Y.D.E. Learning Centres is a non-profit, community-based child care organization. We offer programs ranging from Infant to School age at various locations across the Durham Region.

Position: Registered Early Childhood Educator

Location: Whitby

Status: Full Time - Split Shift (example shift 7 am-10:30am, 2pm-6pm)

Hourly Rate: $25.50/hour plus $2/hour in a Provincial Wage Enhancement Grant for regular hours worked

What we need from you:

A passion for working with children Experience working with School Age children Strong interpersonal skills to gain the trust and respect of children and their parents Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally Second Language is an asset Demonstrated skills working as a team and enjoy a team environment The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Experience in planning and implementing programs 1 - 3 years experience working in the child care field is preferred A current (less than 6 months old) Criminal Check & Vulnerable Sector Search CPR / First Aid Level C Certification Up to date immunizations including 2 step TB (Tuberculosis) test
