Overview

We're looking for a passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our preschool team! In this role, you'll create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Working alongside an Early Childhood Assistant, you'll inspire young minds and make a lasting impact on their development.

What You'll Do

Plan and implement an engaging curriculum tailored to children's developmental needs. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom that supports social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Use effective behavior management strategies to create a respectful learning environment. Collaborate with families to support children's learning at home. Monitor progress and adapt lessons as needed. Support children with special needs through early intervention strategies. Teach foundational skills in literacy, math, and physical education. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.

Qualifications

Diploma in Early Childhood Education Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of AQI, ELECT, or other early childhood education frameworks. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience in preschool or daycare environments. Understanding of behavior management and child development principles. First Aid and CPR required Vunlerable Sector Screening required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
