Job Summary
We are seeking a registered early childhood educator or equivilent for a 1-year maternity leave contract. This could extend to fulltime employee with the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of programming that meets early years pedagogical approaches to care and learning
- Cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with educators, and other staff members to ensure developmentally appropriate practices in care
- Maintain a safe, clean, healthy environment for all
Requirements
- Valid certificate in First Aid & CPR: Level C
- Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within the last 6 months)
- Experience working with or caring for children ages 0-12 years (preferred)
- Up to Date Immunizations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and Initiative
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From $24.86 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
