Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. We are a growing, modern, and, family practice focused clinic where patient care and quality of work comes first. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings,hygienist tasks, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong commitment to patient comfort and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who's willing to learn and is a team player.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Utilize Tracker software for patient record management and scheduling. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and instruments. Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction. Stay updated with medical terminology relevant to dental practices. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in BC. At least 1 year of experience preferred. Familiarity with Tacker software is a plus. Experience in Invisalign, orthodontics and pediatrics is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Pay: From $59.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
