Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, promoting oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental practices and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff. Looking for someone who is available ideally 3 days per week.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by examining patients' gums and teeth. Maintain accurate patient records using software, ensuring all information is up-to-date. Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans for orthodontics and pediatric patients. Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment for all patients. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills

Proficiency in using dental office management software is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Experience or knowledge in orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our diverse patient base. Excellent customer service skills to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort. Previous experience in dental assisting is beneficial but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
