Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. This role requires a professional with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental management software such as Dentrix. Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Monitor patient vital signs and address any concerns or questions before, during, and after treatments. Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.

Skills

Proficiency in Clear Dent or similar dental management software. Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations. Experience in dental assisting is advantageous for supporting clinical operations. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive patient experience. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $48.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
