Our busy and friendly dental practices in Vaughan are seeking a

dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist

to join our team

on a part-time basis (two Sundays per month)

.The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Utilize

TRACKERsoftware for patient records management and scheduling. Assist in orthodontic procedures as needed, providing support to the dental team. Work with pediatric patients, ensuring a friendly and reassuring environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns effectively. Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to dental practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with TRACKER software is highly desirable. Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics will be considered an asset. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient interactions. Pay: $55.00-$63.00 per hour
