Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Duties

Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software Manage patient appointments and follow-up care instructions Support pediatric patients with gentle, age-appropriate care and communication Ensure the clinical area is sterilized, organized, and compliant with safety protocols Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software preferred Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures beneficial Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred, especially with dental assisting skills Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Preferably Tagalog speaking or tagalog speaking is an asset
