We are currently seeking a

Registered Dental Hygienist

to join our friendly, patient-focused team on a

part-time

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

Provide preventive dental hygiene care, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride application. Educate patients on oral hygiene and home care practices. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Work collaboratively with dentists and support staff to deliver high-quality care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures. Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to develop personalized treatment plans for patients. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries with professionalism and care. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices. Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and appointment scheduling.

Requirements

Valid ONTARIO license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. (RDH) Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in Dentrix being a plus. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate patient records and compliance with regulations. CPR certification (current)

Schedule

Wednesday: 8:00am-2:00pm

Thursday: 10am-8:00pm

Friday 9:00am-3:00pm

Saturday: 8:00am-3:00pm

Pay: $44.00-$52.00 per hour
