Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team for 2 alternate Saturday. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have experience in various dental practices, including general and pediatric dentistry. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, performing assessments, and providing quality care to our patients.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate instruments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care. Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic techniques are followed. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care, including chairside assisting when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and infection control procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while providing exceptional patient care. License / Certification:

Dental Hygienist License (required) RDH Certification Mandatory. Currently registered with the CDHO and in good standing Valid CPR Certification
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour
