Registered Dental Hygienist (temporary)
Job Description
Amber Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our friendly, patient-focused team on a temporary basis to provide coverage during a medical leave. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment with a loyal patient base and a modern, digital practice.
This position would begin on November 17, 2025. Expected last day of work is January 19, 2026. This contract may be extended.
We are seeking coverage for the following hours:
Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:40 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday: 8:40 AM - 4:00 PM
Includes a 1-hour lunch break each day.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride, and patient education Maintain accurate and thorough patient records Collaborate with dentists and other team members to deliver excellent patient care Uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
Qualifications:
Current registration and good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional demeanor and a commitment to patient care Previous experience in a general dental practice is an asset Cleardent experience is an asset
