Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to cover a maternity leave for 1 year. full or part time available. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to providing exceptional dental hygiene services. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix software. Collaborate with dentists to provide orthodontic care and treatment plans. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing excellent customer service. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Experience working in a dental office setting is advantageous.
