Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team at Richmond Hill Smile Centre. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. We are currently seeking a dental hygienist to join our team for shifts on Wednesdays and Fridays (10am-6pm). There is potential for this role to expand to full-time hours in the future, including additional days like Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. To start, the position will focus on the two days, with the possibility of growing into a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Utilize Timeshift (Opes) software for patient record management and scheduling. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in the dental office system.

Skills

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations. Farsi speaking hygienists preferred. Previous experience in dental assisting or related roles is beneficial. Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
