We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support the overall operations of our office. Responsibilities

Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to prevent disease and maintain oral health. Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontic treatments if applicable. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or other dental management software. Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment. Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service to foster a positive experience. Support pediatric patients with gentle care tailored to their needs when necessary.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing. Experience working in a dental office environment; familiarity with Dentrix is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages. Previous experience in dental assisting or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient comfort.
