Job Summary
We are looking for a dental hygienist for a permanent part-time position for Fridays. Hours are 8:30-4. Flexible start date. DDS is easy going and staff is very friendly! Successful candidate must be friendly, skilled, enthusiastic, and work well with others. Bonus points if you have experience working with Dentrix and Dexis, but training is provided! New grads and experienced hygienists are welcome to apply. We look forward to receiving your application.
Responsibilities and Duties
Build a good connection with patients at visit.
Conduct initial dental assessments and consult with dentists on patient care.
Scaling, root planning, and polishing.
Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene.
Apply fluoride treatment.
Maintaining accurate patient records utilizing Dentrix.
Taking patient medical histories and blood pressure.
Taking digital intra-oral radiographs.
Disinfecting and sterilization of equipment and operatory.
Scheduling hygiene appointments.
Qualifications and Skills
Registration by the CDHO.
Current BLS CPR training.
Good sense of time management.
