Registered Dental Hygienist
Job Description
We are currently looking for an RDH to join our team on Tuesday's and Thursday's (8:30am-4pm). Please note this is a permanent part time position for Tuesday's and Thursday's only
```Responsibilities```
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Conduct thorough dental assessments and screenings
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
```Requirements```
- Valid dental hygiene license in British Columbia
- Proficiency in using dental office software (e.g., Power Practice, Tracker) for scheduling and record keeping
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide a positive patient experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
