Overview

Dr. Smaily Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Dental practice; we are searching for the right candidate who is passionate about dentistry and patient care and loves working well as a team. This role presents the opportunity for further growth and ongoing continuing education as we like to keep up with new techniques and modern equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Take Trios scans for diagnostics and appliances Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care Assist the dentist during examinations and maintain proper clinical charting and documentation Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Tracker Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-up communications Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns with professionalism and empathy

Skills

Proficiency in Tracker software is an asset Strong understanding of Dental terminology Able to communicate effectively with patients of all ages Prior dental office experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
