We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing support with instruments and materials. Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker software. Collaborate with the dental team to create treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient base. Proficiency in medical terminology and experience with Dentrix software is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
