Overview

ONE OR TWO SATURDAYS A MONTH!! We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and responsable Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a positive and friendly environment. For 1 or 2 Saturdays a month with the opportunity to add more days in the future.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Utilize Tracker software for patient record management and appointment scheduling. Assist in orthodontic procedures as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to all safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with a focus on customer service excellence but new grads are also welcome to apply. Familiarity with Tracker software and Itero scanner is highly desirable but not mandatory. Bilingual candidates are welcome to apply specially Spanish speakers. A valid dental hygiene license is required, along with knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 7 per week
