Registered Dental Hygienist
Job Description
Responsibilities:
We require a dental hygienist for WEDNESDAYS only for a long-established, solo, paediatric practice
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, and polishing teeth and fluoride application.
- Take digital x-rays
- Educate patients/parents on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records.
-Offer diet suggestions to reduce sugar intake
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
-Parking is paid by employer (if required)
Requirements:
- Valid dental hygiene license in Ontario
- Experience working with children.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and their parents.
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and terminology is a plus
