Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Must be available for Thursday 9am to 7pm, Friday 9am to 3pm and 1xSautrday per month.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient treatment plans and progress in Oryx software. Assist in orthodontic procedures and provide support during record intake Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with dentists and other staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide exceptional customer service to foster positive patient relationships.

Skills

Proficiency in Oryx software for patient management and record keeping. Knowledge of orthodontics and experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse patient populations. Previous experience in dental assisting or a dental office setting is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with patients and their families. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Pay: $47.00-$55.00 per hour
