Registered Dental Hygienist
Job Description
We are fun and positive pediatric dental practice looking for a friendly and professional RDH to join our team.
Candidates should have a excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have experience with children all ages, behaviours and special needs. A commitment to providing our families a relaxed and rewarding dental experience from beginning to end is essential.
The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care under the supervision of a licensed dentist and help parents and patients maintain good oral health.
Duties include:
- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists with procedures
- Educate parents and patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Present treatment plans
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Maintain patient records accurately
Requirements:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Valid hygiene license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology
- Experience in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, or dental assisting is a plus
- Tracker knowledge an asset
