Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Arrival time 7:30am and closing 6:30pm (1hr lunches unpaid) Please do not ask if we will consider later start times or earlier finishing times. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, Team Player, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients on proper hygiene practices, and helping out with sterilizing and set up, minor assisting and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

To perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. This includes performing COE's and FMS To take digital radiographs To educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. To perform in office whitening and sealants To perform documentation regarding patient care and treatment plans accurately using ABELDent software. Scheduling hygiene appointments, possibly other treatment appointments Minor assisting the dentist during other examinations and procedures Maintaining a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols and that of the office protocols. This includes Operatory Rooms, Lab, etc Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technology.

Qualifications

Valid CDHO license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Preferably with 3-5 years experience but we would consider a new graduate with the right personality and skill set. Proficiency in using ABELDent software is preferred. Previous experience in dental assisting or within a dental office setting is an advantage and preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance patient communication. However MUST have great VERBAL and WRITTEN English skills Experience or knowledge in pediatrics and orthodontics is a plus.

Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 30 per week
