Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a team. This role involves providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall operation of the dental office. Prior experience with dental software and a background in pediatric or orthodontic care are highly valued. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse patient community.
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies Assist in patient examinations by recording medical histories and vital signs Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring sterilization and cleanliness standards are maintained Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver high-quality patient care
