Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while performing dental hygiene procedures. This role requires a commitment to promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental hygiene practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other staff members to ensure a high standard of care in a friendly and professional environment. Work days are Tuesday-Friday.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth Perform assessments of patients' oral health, including reviewing medical histories Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits Assist in the management of patient records using Dentally software Collaborate with the dental team on treatment plans, especially in orthodontics and pediatrics Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction

Skills

Proficiency in Dentally software for managing patient records and appointments Experience or knowledge in orthodontics and pediatrics is highly desirable Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all patients Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
