Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other dental professionals.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients. Conduct oral health assessments and document findings in the patient's record. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix software. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide support in pediatric and orthodontic procedures as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Address patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred. Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Previous experience in dental assisting or working within a dental office setting is advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.42-$50.85 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
