Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. The position requires a licensed Dental Hygienist with experience in a fast-paced dental office setting.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care Assist with patient management and ensure comfort during procedures Maintain sterilization protocols and uphold infection control standards Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive patient care Manage patient records efficiently using dental practice management software such as Abeldent Support pediatric patients and handle orthodontic cases when necessary Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans

Skills

Proficiency in Abeldent or similar dental practice management software Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations Experience in dental assisting is a plus, providing flexibility in supporting clinical operations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry Prior dental office experience demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail
