Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice for
Saturdays
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive experience for our patients while adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive treatments as necessary. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. documentation review. Ensure infection control protocols are followed, including aseptic techniques and proper handling of medical imaging equipment. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both pediatric and general dentistry settings. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00-$55.01 per hour
Work Location: In person
