We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to patient education and comfort, while also being proficient in various dental procedures.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as necessary. Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and scheduling. Assist in the preparation of treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols. Provide support in orthodontics and pediatrics when required. Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license. Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. Experience working in a dental office. Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus. Background in dental assisting is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. Knowledge or experience in orthodontics and pediatrics is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
