Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Duties

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using Abeldent dental management software Manage patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and treatment plans Provide care tailored for pediatric patients when required Ensure the clinical area is sterile, organized, and compliant with safety protocols Communicate effectively with patients, addressing questions and concerns in a professional manner

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license and HARP in the province of Ontario Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care
