We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. The position requires a licensed hygienist with strong communication skills and a passion for promoting dental health.

Responsibilities

Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using Abeldent or similar dental management software Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to patient care and scheduling

Experience

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software is highly desirable Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is a plus Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages Background in dental assisting or related roles is beneficial but not required
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
