Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Duties: - Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Provide preventive dental care, including fluoride treatments and sealants - Assist the dentist during procedures - Maintain accurate patient records - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Follow infection control protocols - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure excellent patient care Skills: - Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry - Bilingual (preferred) - Experience working with pediatric patients (preferred) - Knowledge of dental assisting procedures - Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent customer service abilities - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including medical insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
