Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education, preventive care, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and orthodontics. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix dental software. Assist in managing patient flow and ensuring a positive customer service experience. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care and address any patient concerns. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Requirements

Valid NSRDH license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental management software. Strong patient care skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
