Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Take xrays as needed. Assist in the management of patient records using Tracker software. Work closely with orthodontic patients to provide specialized care and support. Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations and IPAC standards. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and procedures. Collaborate with dentists and other staff to ensure optimal patient care. Assisting with treatment plans and supporting administration roles during downtime

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial. Experience in orthodontics and pediatrics is highly desirable. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $42.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
