We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with the dentist and other staff members to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist the dentist during procedures by providing support and ensuring patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software. Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean working environment. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.

Skills

Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with knowledge of dental assisting practices. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus, as well as experience in orthodontics. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and address their needs. Bilingual abilities are highly valued, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry is essential for accurate record keeping. Familiarity with Abeldent or similar dental management software is advantageous.
