Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional service.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in Tracker software.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

Valid provincial license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.

Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required. Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this enhances communication with diverse patients. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Familiarity with Tracker or similar dental office management software is a plus.
