We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our NEW dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral hygiene practices and assisting in various dental procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the health of patients' teeth and gums. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental software system. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Maintain sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care for patients, including those in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is preferred. Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous Knowledge of dental practice management software is beneficial. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.
