Job Summary

Are you tired of working in an office with grumpy patients, a dull team and a cranky boss? Or, working evenings and never having a free weekend? If you are, we are a fast paced downtown dental clinic which focuses on patient care and find ourselves needing a RDH to help us transition through a medical leave. Local anesthetic would be nice though not a deal breaker. Days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00am - 4:30pm. Please note there may be the possibility of more hours. Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling, root planing, periodontal probing using GOLD software and polishing teeth. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the documentation of patient medical histories and treatment plans. Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care for patients, including those requiring orthodontics and pediatric services. Maintain a sterile and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring a positive experience in the dental office.

Skills

Proficient in using GOLD software for patient management and paper record keeping. Knowledgeable in clear aligners would be helpful. Previous experience within a dental office setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient care.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00-$61.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 16 per week
