Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in Dentrix software. Assist in orthodontic procedures when necessary, including patient preparation and follow-up care. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and office efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred; candidates with dental assisting experience will also be considered. Familiarity with Abeldent software is highly desirable. Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, including bilingual candidates. Looking for Monday and Thursday hire from 10-6 pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $43.25-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 16 per week
