We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our lovely team in a private family oriented office for Mondays and Thursdays. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

```Duties```
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
- Document patient treatment records accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory

```Requirements```
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in BC
- Proficiency in dental office software (Tracker knowledge is an asset)
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
