We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive team focused on promoting oral health and patient education.

Responsibilities

Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain infection control standards Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments Support the overall efficiency of the dental office by handling administrative tasks as needed

Skills

Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental software systems Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, assessments, and oral health education Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes Support patients in long-term oral health planning and ongoing hygiene maintenance Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure an exceptional patient experience Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
Hours are as follows:

Mondays 9-5 pm

Tues - Thurs 7-3 pm

Fridays 8-3pm

One Saturday a month from 9-3pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $46.61-$67.24 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
