Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting oral health. This role requires a compassionate individual who can effectively communicate with patients and work collaboratively within a dental office environment.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments. Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software. Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans for patients. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experiences.

Skills

Familiarity with Curve dental or similar dental practice management software. Excellent customer service skills to effectively interact with patients and their families. Bilingual abilities are an advantage for communicating with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
