We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team for every other Thursday, Saturday, and more days can be added. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for promoting oral health.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing support with instruments and materials.
Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker software, ensuring all medical history and treatment notes are up to date.
Collaborate with the dental team to create a welcoming environment for patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Stay informed about advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Familiarity with Tracker dental office management software is beneficial.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
