We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice starting end of November-beginning of December. Keystone Dental is privately owned and operated in Brandon Manitoba. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education, preventive care, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in the dental office.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take digital dental radiographs as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in Maxident.
Assist dentists during procedures as necessary, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments.
Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure that all dental instruments are properly cleaned and organized.
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and retention.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and address their concerns.
Proficiency in using Maxident or similar dental practice management software is considered an asset.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
