Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. This is a SATURDAY position!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist and other dental professionals to deliver exceptional care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients of all ages. Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care. Utilize dental software such as Cleardent for patient documentation and record management. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Previous experience in a dental office - minimum 2 years Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety. Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
