Overview

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to work alternate Saturdays. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. A strong background in customer service and familiarity with dental software such as Cleardent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary tools and support. Maintain accurate patient records using Cleardent software. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient care. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.. Work effectively with pediatric patients, ensuring a positive experience for children.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ontario with minimum 2 years experience. Experience with Cleardent software is highly desirable. Background in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus. Previous dental office experience required, with a focus on customer service. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
