Key Responsibilities:
Deliver thorough, gentle dental cleanings and preventative care
Create a comfortable, reassuring environment for patients
Perform scaling, polishing, and periodontal screenings
Take and process dental x-rays following safety protocols
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventative care
Maintain and update detailed patient records using Abeldent software
Process various instruments as needed
Patient Demographics:
You'll work with a diverse patient base including:
Families and children
Seniors
Preventative care focused patients
Periodontal patients
Patients requiring various levels of dental care
Required Qualifications:
Current Registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
Valid Ontario dental hygienist license
Proficiency with Abledent software
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient comfort
Experience in creating a calming environment for patients
Excellent communication abilities for patient education
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Commitment to delivering personalized patient care
Certified CPR and First Aid Certification
