Job Summary



The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and is eager to contribute to a positive patient experience.

Duties



Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using dental software such as Clear Dent or similar. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the operatory areas in compliance with infection control standards. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently, acting as a liaison between the dentist and patients. Support orthodontic procedures, if applicable, by preparing materials and assisting during treatments. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless workflow within the practice.

Skills



Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and familiarity with medical terminology. Experience with dental software preferably Clear Dent. Knowledge of orthodontics practices is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and staff. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
